Quarterly Update
Dear Friends,
Things have been moving quickly, and we wanted to pause for a moment to bring you up to speed. The last few months have been deeply encouraging, our communities are growing stronger, housing numbers are increasing, and a renewed sense of creativity and purpose is taking root within those participating in our programs.

Our recovery team is reaching more people and seeing real results. Of the 45 individuals supported by our therapeutic team, 19 are now employed, a meaningful increase from 15 last month. Every person who wanted support this month received it, with no one turned away. The team has also been visiting Forest Hill directly, bringing recovery supports right to where people live.

Our approach to vocation is all-hands-on-deck and wide open, we believe the search for meaningful work should be safe to try, whether someone finds their path through employment or entrepreneurship, and whether they live with us or simply found their way to us through another door.
One name that means a great deal to us right now is Zane.

Zane's Story
Safe to Try · Neighbourly Coffee
Zane is a young person who came to us not through our transitional housing, but through another path — and he entered our Safe to Try employment program with the kind of quiet openness that, with the right support, becomes something real.

Your Support Makes Your Community Thrive
Your generosity, encouragement, and partnership help make these moments possible. Because of you, people are given space to try, to grow, to belong, and to imagine a hopeful future. We are truly grateful for the way you continue to walk alongside us — and alongside our community members — step by step.

As we look toward the summer, our shared goal is to cultivate a strong and welcoming sense of community across each of our sites. We want to help create spaces filled with connection, dignity, joy, and memories worth carrying forward.

Thank you for being part of this work.
Sincerely,
The Team of the 12 Neighbours Community
